KC Lacrosse Program

Despite the many challenges we continue to give our all to the program. Our intention is to make
Kingston College the crème de la crème of high school lacrosse in Jamaica. We are well on our way and
any support to the program is appreciated.

2022 Taino Cup Champions

We continue to give of our best to the program despite the many shortcomings. Currently we have a
record 40 boys in training competing for 20 slots on the team for the 2023 season. The interest is
growing but the resources are lacking even though we have been getting help from old boys both
locally and overseas, we are still facing challenges.
Areas of concern are nutrition, proper hydration for training/ games and equipment. Ideally, we would
love to have 3 sticks for each player (1 to take home to train, 1 for training at school and another for
games) we are falling short in this area. All items used in the sport have to be procured from overseas as
they aren’t sold in Jamaica.

Accomplishments
Winning 3 titles and being in 4 finals in 5 seasons
Currently defending champions
On course to be the 1st team to do a 3 peat
Currently on 16 games win streak
3 of our team members gained scholarships to overseas universities.
Our coach was selected to coach the all-star team which defeated the Jamaica u21 team in an exhibition
game.
