Kingston College Old Boys’ Association U.S.A., Inc. Scholarship Program

About Us:

The Kingston College Old Boys’ Association USA Inc. (KCOBA USA Inc.) Scholarship Program is designed to invest in the education of Kingston College (KC) students who are relentless in their pursuit of academic excellence in spite of their socio-economic backgrounds. We strive to live out the creed of our school’s founder, The Rt. Rev. Bishop Percival Gibson, of preparing inner-city boys to be honorable men and leaders in Jamaica and the rest of the world.

Program Goals :

The Scholarship Program is dedicated to partnering with Kingston College Old Boys, well wishers and corporate sponsors who share in the program’s mission and goals of:

  • Providing educational opportunities for students demonstrating a relentless pursuit of academic excellence.
  • Mentoring and developing tangible skills of scholarship recipients.
  • Preparing students for secondary and tertiary level education opportunities.
  • Ensuring financial support for students throughout high school.
  • Offering development opportunities for students through events ranging from mentoring sessions to professional panels.
  • Collaborating with dedicated KC Old Boys and other business professionals who have demonstrated a proven record of success.
  • Provide a platform for KC Old Boys to leave a lasting legacy honoring the life of a parent, teacher or fellow KC Old Boy by funding a scholarship in his or her name (Branded Scholarships)
  • Providing opportunities for volunteers to fulfill their civic responsibilities
